Appletree Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Close to Drymen with its eateries, pubs and shops and also handy for Stirling, Glasgow and Helensburgh.
An ideal place for walking, boating, cycling, fishing and many other outdoor activities.
The cottage is modern, warm and full of natural light.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin.
The downstairs bedroom is suitable for wheelchair users and mobility impaired guests.
A huge open plan living space has fantastic views for four miles across the Kilpatrick Hills.
There is a south facing patio and the cottage is set in a private garden with ample parking
A peaceful rural location with only very occasional farm traffic on the quiet back road.
Wi-fi, Netflix Heating and Electricity, Towels, Linen and Toiletries are included.
The cottage is suitable for people with animal hair allergies as we don't allow pets.

The DOWNSTAIRS OPEN PLAN LIVING AREA incorporates a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, 50 inch TV with Netflix, Music Centre and DVD/Blue Ray player.
Next to the living area is the dining area with ample room for eight people and dimmable overhead pendant lighting
There is a breakfast bar next to the modern fully equipped kitchen area with Electric hob & extractor fan, Electric Oven, Combination microwave / oven, Toaster, Kettle, Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer and an extensive selection of cutlery, crockery and utensils.
A utility area contains a washer/drier, Iron and Ironing board, clothes drier and first aid kit.

From the downstairs living area a huge sliding door opens on to the south facing patio. There are fantastic views of open countryside throughout.


The downstairs bedroom en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower, wc and wash basin, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. This bedroom can be made up as a double or twin.
This bedroom can be suitable for wheelchair users and mobility-impaired guests. (Please ask for more details)

There are three bedrooms upstairs which can be made up as either three double beds or two doubles and a twin (two single beds). All three rooms are fully en-suite each with a shower, wc and wash basin and heated towel rails and electric shaver point.

All bedrooms are provided with hair dryers linen, towels and complimentary toiletries.


There is a wonderful south facing patio with stunning views across beautiful countryside. There is outdoor dining furniture for 8 persons and a barbecue is available.

The cottage is set in a large private garden which is mostly laid to lawn. There is a herb garden which guests are free to make use of, a drying line and ample parking for four cars.

The cottage is in a peaceful setting on a quiet back road, a short distance from the village of Croftamie. A small supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, eateries and pubs are closely in the village of Drymen.
