Make your golfing holiday base in the Loch Lomond area and you can easily reach, say, a hundred courses within a day's drive. Not that you need to go that far, when there will be a course just along the road. It all starts with the Carrick and the Wee Devil right on the shores of the loch, with other courses such as Buchanan Castle nearby to the east of the loch, or Helensburgh and Cardross to the west and south. So many we can't list them all – we wouldn’t know where to stop. Parkland, heathland, traditional, challenging or forgiving – whatever you need from a day’s golf is at hand right here.
