Winter Solstice Festival Loch Lomond Shores
10:00 - 17:00
On the shortest day and the longest night of 2014, Loch Lomond Shores decided they had to do something to celebrate!
The final Farmers’ Market of the year will be offering every tasty delicacy required to enhance your festive table, the range of shops will be bursting with presents for every friend and family member and the Artisan Craft Market will have sewn, knitted, built and painted so many beautiful items that your imagination will burst with all the great gifts.
To pull all of the fun together there will be some live drum music with Clann An Drumma, festive funfair rides, outdoor archery with Can You Experience, lip-smacking street food, Santa’s Express Train and it’s just not a party without fireworks – so there will be fireworks to celebrate the darkness rolling in at 3.30pm.
This whole day will be celebrating the wonderful work of the Loch Lomond Rescue Team. This team of volunteers are out on the Loch in all weathers to rescue and save, so come along to meet them, meet their rescue boat and find out more….even try your hand at some first aid or using a defibrillator.
Free parking and easy to get to from Glasgow, Stirling and central Scotland - find out more at www.lochlomondshores.comBACK
