Rated 'excellent' by all DSLR camera-using attendees, this one-day course is designed to help you cut through the jargon, learn in a relaxed and enjoyable way how to take control of your camera and take better photographs.

The course runs from 10am-5pm at Paul's home and base in Drymen, beautiful Loch Lomond.

Designed to be inclusive to all levels from the novice to serious hobbyist there is a mixture of classroom and outdoor practical exercises where you will be soon using your camera to it's potential and shooting in full manual mode.
Limited to just four delegates on each course there is plenty of opportunity for one to one tuition. By the end of the day you will leave with new found skills and a memory card containing the beautiful images that you will have captured throughout the day.
The course costs £99 including refreshments and a sandwich lunch. Subject to weather the afternoon is spent at nearby Balmaha, where there are many views to photograph and scenery to explore and try out newly developed skills.
Topics covered include: camera modes, compositions, portraiture, landscapes, digital editing, exposure, depth of field, shutter speeds and focusing.
This course is designed for owners of DSLR cameras.
