Winners of the Enterprise Music Scotland Award 2010 - 2012, the Sutherland Duo are an eclectic and energetic duo. They have each performed at prestigious venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, St Martin in the Fields and Cadogan Hall, and have given live broadcasts on BBC Radio 3.

They were invited to perform in the historic Bath Pump Room for its 300th Anniversary celebration concert. They are currently recording their debut CD together which will be an all-Russian disc featuring the works of Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.

Their repertoire spans more than 300 years of western classical music, ranging from the elegance of the French Baroque, the searing emotional intensity of Brahms, and the wild gypsy rhythms of Sarasate, to the exciting music of our times. Harriet and Christina met at London's Royal Academy of Music, and subsequently discovered a shared heritage in the neighbouring Sutherland glens of Strath Halladale and the Strath of Kildonan.
