Mark Beaumont Argyll Challenge - Loch Lomond Dates

Scottish adventurer Mark Beaumont is undertaking an Argyll-wide challenge starting in July.

Mark is going to be running, swimming, cycling, horse riding, kayaking and sailing his way around massive areas of Argyll and Bute. He is also being followed by a documentary film crew, so look out for some marvellous Argyll-wide footage!

Check out Mark's timetable and the Loch Lomond activities on 1 and 2 of August - more details to be confirmed nearer the time.

24th July - train to oban and north Argyll/Lismore - cycling
25th - Tiree and Coll - running, cycling and kayaking
26th - Mull - cycle the sportive route
27th - oban and Heart of Argyll - kayak trail oban via Arduaine and on to Crinan then towpath jog/cycle
28th - Jura and Islay - Tayvallich ferry, fell run on the Paps , cycling Jura and Islay and running the whisky trail
29th - Kintyre - cycling, mountain biking the Kintyre Way and horse riding on Carradale beach
30th - Kintyre, Argyll's Secret Coast and Bute - cycling, mountain biking and rowing/sailing/kayaking - and a RIB ride
31st - Cowal - mountain biking, cycling and quad biking (tbc) incl Hells Glen and the Rest and Be Thankful
1st August - Helensburgh and Loch Lomond - cycle/mountain bike the 3 Lochs Way, John Muir Way and West Loch Lomond Cycle Path

2nd August - Wild swim on Loch Lomond - WHW fell run and mountain bike, cycle Glen Orchy and Inveraray horse-riding - to be confirmed.

3rd - Inveraray, Loch Awe, Cruachan - off-road motorbiking, cycling, fell run to Cruachan Dam - and cycle back to Oban.
