Luss Clean Up Day

09:15 - 13:00

Following last year’s successful clean-up day, when yet again an enormous skip was filled with rubbish, volunteers are now sought for this year’s Luss Clean-up Day on Saturday, 19th March 2016.

This is being organised on behalf of the village by the Luss & Arden Community Development Trust.

The purpose is to improve both approaches to the village, the village itself and its two glens, prior to the Easter holidays and the summer season.

Volunteers are going to be clearing paths, collecting litter and removing any larger fly tipping where possible.

Where to meet:  9.15am – for tea/coffee/bacon butties - in the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, Luss.

What to bring:   If possible, please bring gardening gloves, waterproofs, a rake and shovel – if not, efforts will be made to provide these items.

The organisers would really appreciate it if people could come and help us improve their village.

Soup and sandwiches will be provided for lunch at the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, after the work is finished. Local businesses, local Councillors/MSPs/MPs are also invited to attend and help.

If you have any queries about the event, please do not hesitate to telephone on: 01389 710 000 or 07833 751 454.
