Introductory Green Woodworking Workshop Ardess Lodge

An introductory green-woodworking workshop, based at the NTS traditionally built cruck-frame building, and you get to make your own souvenir!

Don't be a stranger, come and meet the ranger.

Come to our traditionally built cruck-frame building at Ardess Lodge to find out about the local trees, explore the Green Woodworking techniques used in the cruck-frame build, and make your own Lucky Keyring to take home.

All tools and materials provided, and full instruction and supervision at all times.

All children to be accompanied by an adult, thanks!

Details
To get to Ardess Lodge, walk north from the Forestry Commission car park at Rowardennan for 300m, to the entrance to the youth hostel grounds, then follow the brown signs for Ben Lomond Ranger Service for a further 300m to Ardess Lodge.
