Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games 2017

Run by local people on a voluntary basis, the Helensburgh and Lomond Games are a spectacular event of traditional sport and dance going back to 1889.
Traditionally, games linked to a Scottish Clan but Helensburgh is unique in being linked to two local Clans; the Colquhoun's and MacAulay's.
Included in the games are the Heavies competitions with events such as Tossing the Caber. There is also Highland Dancing and Athletics.
Venue: Helensburgh Rugby Club Grounds, Rhu Road Higher, Helensburgh, Argyll G84 8JZ.
Entry prices: Adults £5, Children 15 & under £2. Concessions £3.
