The A listed Titan Crane at Clydebank stands 150ft tall and opened as a visitor attraction in July 2007. Guests can take the lift to the top, walk along the jib and imagine how life was in the world famous John Brown’s Shipyard. During the yard’s 100 year existence over 400 ruise liners and naval ships were built, including the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and the QE2. The Titan survived the Clydebank Blitz of 1941. The restored crane, beloved by the local community, is a symbol of their proud industrial heritage. Opening 23rd April to 3rd Oct 2011 Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon's 10am to 4pm May, June, Sept & Oct Open 7 days July & August
