The Gardeners Cottages are on the banks of Loch Lomond and within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The three Cottages are in secluded wooded grounds.
They are converted from original 1860's buildings on one side of a Victorian walled garden and are comfortable and full of character. A short woodland path leads to the shore of Loch Lomond. A second garden has a putting green and space for ball games and is a safe area for children to play in.
The cottages are set-up with wireless Internet access. Ideally located for touring highlands, west coast lochs and central Scotland; It is a rural hideaway yet nearby are picturesque villages and all the amenities necessary for a self-catering holiday.
Lomond Cottage (Sleeps 5)
Lomond Cottage is a two bedroom cottage with one double bedded room and one twin bedded room. The cottage also has a bed-settee which means that it can sleep 5 people. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen. Television is provided by freesat and a DVD/CD player is part of the entertainment centre. Luss Cottage (Sleeps 2)
Luss Cottage can accommodate 2 people. It has one bedroom with a double bed. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen. Television is provided by freesat and a DVD/CD player is part of the entertainment centre. An MP3 docking station is available and the cottage has wi-fi broadband reception. Linnhe Cottage (Sleeps 5)
Linnhe Cottage can sleep 4/5 persons. It is a two bedroom cottage with one double bedded room and one twin bedded room. The cottage also has a bed-settee which means that it can sleep 5 people. Conditions of Hire
Terms
- The tariffs are per week (Saturday to Saturday or as agreed) for the cottage equipped as described.
- The usual time of take-over is between 4pm and 6pm (subject to unavoidable delays or by prior arrangement).
- The cottage must be vacated no later than 10am on the day of departure and left in a clean and tidy condition.
- You are responsible for any damage done or loss sustained during your stay.
Number of Guests. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the number of people stipulated in the booking form (or agreed at the time of booking) is not exceeded without prior approval from The Gardeners Cottages.
Payment
- An initial payment of 20% of the tariff must be paid to confirm a reservation.
- The balance should be paid 4 weeks before arrival or, if booking within 4 weeks of your holiday start date, payment should be made in full when making the booking.
- In the event of non-payment on the due date we reserve the right to cancel the holiday and the initial payment is forfeited. Reminders are not sent.
- We reserve the right to pass on to the customer any bank charges incurred in the transaction whether it be for the conversion of foreign currency or cost arising from re-presenting cheques.
Cancellation
Should you cancel your holiday after booking has been accepted by TGC, you will remain liable for the full cost of your holiday.
The customer may be liable for the total hire charge unless 60 days written notice (e-mail is acceptable) is sent to us and acknowledged as received by TGC. We agree that, in the event of cancellation, while every effort will be made by us to re-let, if a substitute cannot be found the Customer will be responsible for paying for the period of the tenancy booked.
We may treat the booking as cancelled if the balance of the payment is not sent by the date agreed in the booking form, and every effort will be made to re-let the vacancy.
Our decision on all claims is final.
We recommend that holiday cancellation insurance is taken out to cover the cost of cottage rental.
We Reserve the right not to hand over accommodation to any person/s who in our opinion is:-
- not suitable to take charge - in such case all hire moneys shall be refunded in full and the Contract discharged or,
- not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property or annoyance to other guests - in which case a proportionate refund of the period remaining will be made, and the Contract discharged, etc. recompense being made.
We also reserve the right to enter any accommodation under special circumstances or emergencies.
Loss or Injury. The Customer undertakes to relieve TGC from any liability for damage or injury however caused by any member of the hirer’s party.
We, our agents or employees, accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of the Hirer’s party or their property, howsoever caused, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises.
We will not be responsible for death or personal injury, save insofar as it results from our proven negligence.
Pets. In the interests of other guests, and maintaining the hygiene of the cottages and grounds, we do not allow pets to stay in the cottages.
