Springfest Food and Drink Festival Returns for Third Year
Springfest Food and Drink Festival returns to Loch Lomond for its third year on the weekend of Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April.
Once again the venue is the iconic and stunning setting of Loch Lomond Shores. Festival organisers are delighted to announce that Greenergy will be a key sponsor of this year’s event, supporting the innovative cooking that will take place in the cookery demo marquee.
Greenergy is the largest supplier of petrol and diesel in the country, supplying enough fuel for every one in three cars in Britain. Greenergy blends its own petrol, manufactures high-quality biodiesel from waste cooking oils and has an in-house haulage operation to deliver fuel to petrol stations and other customer sites.
As a bedroom start-up, and now celebrating its 25th year, Greenergy is keen to promote innovation in small businesses, including the independent food and drink producers who will be part of Springfest.
Greenergy, said: “We are proud supporters of independent food festivals in the UK. Greenergy is a big company with an entrepreneurial spirit, so are delighted to support this exciting event that promotes local talent and engages the community in a unique way.”
Festival-goers can look forward to a packed schedule of free-to-attend cooking demonstrations over the weekend, with everything from wild food and wild cocktail masterclasses delivered by Scotland’s top forager Mark Williams, and delicious Scottish dishes cooked up by chefs from leading hotels and restaurants in Glasgow and the west of Scotland.
Loch Lomond Shores is the gateway to Scotland’s first national park and is situated at Ben Lomond Way, Balloch, G83 8QL
