Spotlight on Loch Lomond Flea Market
The Loch Lomond Flea Market operates every Saturday from 10am to 3pm at Lomond Galleries, Main Street, Alexandria G83 0UG and is a commercial, professional weekly selling event.
Alexandria is a town in West Dunbartonshire, approximately 4 miles from Dumbarton, 8 miles from Helensburgh and 17 miles from Glasgow, along the A82. It sits on the River Leven and is the neighbouring town to Balloch, where the Leven meets Loch Lomond.
There are regular bus routes to Alexandria Main Street, the Vale of Leven Hospital across the road and train stations in Alexandria and Balloch. There is a large car park, shops and café on the site.
Loch Lomond Flea Market allows the sale of all quality second hand goods, antique, vintage and crafts.
The organisers have a passionate belief in recycling and upcycling – selling and buying at flea markets is cost-effective, environmentally friendly and fun! You will always be able to find something useful or unique and will get chatting to many interesting people along the way. The market welcomes trade buyers and sellers and also private sellers & buyers.
Charities and fundraisers are also welcome to sell, with the usual pitch fees applied. The market offers free entry to the public and free parking.
Loch Lomond Flea Market Pitch Prices: Cars – £10. Vans – £14
No need to book in advance, just arrive on the morning from 9am onwards.
For a list of what is allowed and not allowed for sale, plus set-up details, please consult the Loch Lomond Flea Market website.
Dogs are welcome while visitors are browsing around the flea market but they must be on a lead & the site must be kept clean. When the flea market is operating indoors, pets cannot enter the building.
If there is persistent heavy rain, it is likely that only indoor stands will operate. Any heavy rain before the day of the event (but not on the day) will be fine as the entire selling area is on hard standing.
The organisers also operate an eco-friendly property clearance service. Quotations are free and in person.
