Spooky Goings-On for all the Family at Loch Lomond Shores this Halloween

Loch Lomond Shores has become a must-do Hallowe’en destination for the past few years with the popular Witchy Walk – and this year is even bigger and better.

Hallowe’en celebrations will take place from Friday 27 October until All Hallows Eve itself, Tuesday 31 October 2017.

The Hallowe’en Experience on Friday 27 October has the popular Walking Theatre Company with a spooky evening performance in the woods and a Harry Potter-inspired visit to the Loch Lomond Birds of Prey Centre to visit the owls and eagles.

Previous years’ tickets have sold out in advance, so anyone looking for tickets would be advised to book online as soon as possible to avoid disappointment – there will only be two performances.

Thomson’s Fun Fairs will be on site from 27 October until 31 October. There will be amazing rides for kids and adults, and a big Hallowe’en celebration in the overspill car park on Tuesday 31 October – with the fun fair, not one but two firework displays, and prizes for the best costumes.

And for the first time ever there will be a Hallowe’en Party Night (Saturday 28 October, from 6pm) for grown-ups, with a Rocky Horror Picture Show theme, street food, Scottish drinks suppliers and entertainment.

Loch Lomond Shores manager, Audrey Reid said:This Hallowe’en is going to be bigger and better than ever before. The Hallowe’en Experience is bigger than ever, and is sure to be a hit because we know how popular both the Walking Theatre and Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre are with our visitors. But we wanted to do more this year. So, we’ve Thomson’s Fun Fairs coming in, with a big celebration for all the family on 31st October".

Audrey explained: Then we also thought – why should the kids have all the fun? So we’ll be hosting our first Hallowe’en party night for adults. Dressing up is definitely required, and even if you’re not particularly into Rocky Horror, it’s going to be a lot of fun!”

Loch Lomond Comic Con organisers can confirm that the event will return in the spring of next year.
