The West Dunbartonshire Business Show will take place on Tuesday 7th October from 10am-4pm at the Clydebank Town Hall. As well as over 40 exhibitors from across West Dunbartonshire, there will be Meet the Buyer seminars, business information seminars, school workshops, a property zone, a networking area and a business wall where delegates can display promotional material and business cards.

Companies attending include Diamond Power, Campbell & Kennedy, Glenhead Engineering, Ceramco, Polaroid, European Circuits, Clydesdale Bank plc, Clyde Weekly Press, Terasaki, Clydeview Engineering, Haven Products Ltd, Opos, Cameron House Hotel and many more local businesses.

A number of public sector organisations will also attend, including Scottish Enterprise, Business Gateway, Fairtrade, JobCentre Plus, Firstport, Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce, West College Scotland, and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

There will also be an opportunity for businesses involved in the construction sector to find out how they can access contract opportunities in exciting new capital projects happening across West Dunbartonshire.  Hub West Scotland, West Dunbartonshire Council’s development partner, in conjunction with main contractors Balfour Beatty, BAM, Heron Bros and Morgan Sindall will all be exhibiting. They will also deliver Meet the Buyer workshops to promote the contract opportunities available and provide businesses with information on the new planned construction projects.

Councillor Patrick McGlinchey, Convener for Infrastructure, Regeneration and Economic Development said: “The Business Show is a great opportunity, no matter the size and type of your business. We hope to attract people who are involved in business on a variety of levels, from owners and managers with a keen interest in growing their business potential, to individuals who want to learn more about enterprise and business.”

Councillor David McBride, Vice Convener for Infrastructure, Regeneration and Economic Development added: “I’d urge all local businesspeople to attend the Business Show and take advantage of the many opportunities on offer. It could open doors for trading opportunities, boost existing business relationships, and provide the opportunity to promote your products or services, network with other business owners and exchange information, all at no cost.”
