Love Loch Lomond Welcomes International Ryder Cup Media Visitors
Project Manager Karen Donnelly and members of the Love Loch Lomond Team were delighted to welcome a group of international journalists fresh from their attendance at the 2014 Ryder Cup, to Loch Lomond recently.
The group of international journalists, hosted by VisitScotland, said they had been extremely impressed with their experience of the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, and all gave excellent feedback on the event’s organisation as well as their impressions of Scotland and what they had managed to see and do in a short space of time.
The journalists, from Europe, The United States and India, were enjoying a whistle-stop tour of the sights and attractions of Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Glasgow and East Lothian before flying home this week.
The group enjoyed a warm welcome from Cruise Loch Lomond, a delicious champagne lunch and a loch cruise and chatted to representatives from Love Loch Lomond to find out more about the destination, in terms of what people could see and do, where they could stay, and the range of outdoor activities on offer in the area.
