This coming weekend, from Friday 23rd through to Sunday 25th January and even beyond, people throughout the world will celebrate the birthday of Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns, with traditional Burns Suppers, ceilidhs, music, events and more.

Knockderry House Hotel
Knockderry House Hotel will be running Burns specials in addition to its normal menu from Friday 23rd till Sunday 25th January with the following tasty menu:
- Starter: Cock-a-leekie soup served with sliced prunes £4.95
- Main Course: Knockderry Homemade haggis, neeps and tatties served with malt whisky jus £11.95
- Dessert: Clootie dumpling served with caramel ice cream £5.95

Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch
Shoppers and visitors to Loch Lomond Shores can take advantage of 25% discount on specific Burns products and Highland Shearer candles at Ashtins store between the 19th and 25th January. They can also enjoy a whisky tasting of Loch Lomond malt whisky and some gourmet Haggis at Valvona & Crolla, Jenners, on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th (check with the venue for times).
