Loch Lomond Shores Farmers' Market Shortlisted for Retail Award
The fourth annual Scottish Independent Retail Awards highlight the value of independent retailers to the communities they operate within; recognising and rewarding the entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen which lies behind the thriving independent retailers.
Voted for by the public, the awards receive thousands of nominations, which this year, will culminate in a ceremony and black tie event held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow, on Sunday 8th February, attracting retailers from across Scotland.
Loch Lomond Shores is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Best Farmers’ Market category and will attend next week’s glamorous ceremony to compete with other finalists for the coveted award.
Clare Gemmell, General Manager at Loch Lomond Shores said: "We are thrilled to have been nominated in the Best Farmers' Market category at this year’s Scottish Independent Retail Awards and what makes the recognition even more special is the fact that the public have voted for us. Regardless of the outcome on Sunday evening, we are delighted to have made the shortlist of finalists".
The Scottish Independent Retail Awards are all about supporting businesses who work within their local community. The awards look to give a platform to the local communities from which to voice their admiration and loyalty to their independent retailer of choice.
Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic said: “We have had a fantastic response from the public and we are excited to welcome dedicated independent retailers in a celebration of their hard work. We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck.”
There are twenty categories in the Scottish Independent Retail Awards, covering butchers, bakers, florists, coffee shops and more.
