Loch Lomond Shores Crowned National Winners at Scottish Hospitality Awards

Loch Lomond Shores scooped the top accolade at the prestigious national Scottish Hospitality Awards reception on 13 June, with the 5 Star retail and visitor attraction complex being officially awarded the title of Scotland’s Best Day Out.

Around 250 people attended the 2016 Scottish Hospitality Awards in Glasgow, the red carpet awards recognising business champions which provide excellent customer experiences in the entertainment and hospitality industries across Scotland.

Clare Gemmell, General Manager of Loch Lomond Shores, said: "It’s truly gratifying to have our hard work and achievements rewarded so resoundingly by The Scottish Hospitality Awards and this excellent recognition will give our marketing campaigns a huge boost." 

"We have already achieved so much in 2015 as our five-star attraction saw record breaking visitor numbers with over 1.2 million people enjoying our shopping and leisure complex. This resulted in the destination being named one of the top visited Scottish attractions last year amongst Edinburgh Castle and The National Museum of Scotland by the findings collated by The Moffat Centre for Travel and Tourism Business Development."

Loch Lomond Shores fought off stiff competition from other finalists in this category such as M&D's Theme Park and The Royal Yacht Britannia.
