Loch Lomond Arms Hotel Nominated for Scottish Style Award
Love Loch Lomond Member The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel has been shortlisted as one of the most stylish hotels in Scotland in this year’s Scottish Style Awards.
The historic inn owned by Luss Estates, which re-opened last year after a £3.5m refurbishment, has been nominated for a Scottish Style Award in the most stylish hotel category.
The Scottish Style Awards were founded and launched in 2005 by Mary McGowne, with the specific aim of honouring the inspirational individuals and enterprises that enrich Scottish life in the fields of fashion, music, stage, screen, the arts and creative industries.
The Awards celebrate style and creativity in its broadest sense. Previous winners include Harris Tweed Hebrides, The Blythswood Hotel, designer Christopher Kane and singer Charlene Spiteri of Texas.
Other nominees in the hotel category are Aldourie Castle Estate, Loch Ness; Citizen M, Glasgow; Mhor 84 Motel, Balquhidder; and Whitefalls Spa Lodges, Isle of Lewis.
General Manager Val Jones said: “We are thrilled and excited to be recognised by the Scottish Style Awards, all the more so as our nomination and shortlisting to the final five came as a genuine surprise.
“Every day, guests from all over the world compliment us on the interior design and style of the hotel, so to be formally recognised, and to be in such exceptional company, is a fabulous accolade for the entire team here in Luss.”
The 2013 Scottish Style Awards in association with Moet & Chandon take place on Saturday 9th November 2013 at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
