Live Cookery Demos at Loch Lomond Shores Farmers' Market Sunday 16 August

Chef and food writer Christopher Trotter returns to the twice monthly Loch Lomond Shores Farmers' Market to offer live cookery demos this summer. 

Christopher will be offering demos of several delicious dishes chosen from fresh produce at the market that day, and will then show customers what to do with different cuts of meat, types of fish and suggest ways to use this season's fruit and vegetables.

Christopher Trotter is a passionate advocate for seasonal fresh Scottish food and has written five cookery books; three on Scottish cooking and tradition, with his latest, “The Whole Cow,” published in 2013.

The next free cookery demo session will be held on Sunday 16th August 2015 and visitors will also have the chance to put their foodie questions to the leading expert. No booking is necessary.

Christopher will be running the demonstrations at regular intervals on both days from 11am, with the last session at 2.30pm. Customers can also visit him at his cooking stall in between demos to chat and ask their own culinary questions.
