Innovation in Sports, Tourism, Service Sector at Duck Bay Marina
Are you a small business working in the sports, tourism, fitness or active leisure service industry? Do you want to develop and grow your business by exploring new ideas? Then this event is for you!
This event on Wednesday 29th May at Duck Bay Marina, Loch Lomond, will help businesses working in the sport and leisure sectors - or who wish to offer services to sport and leisure participants - to think creatively about the services they deliver and how to design (or re-design) better services with the aim of growing their market. It aims to bring innovative solutions to common challenges in service delivery across a range of sports-related industries. The Scottish sports service sector is challenged on many fronts. Businesses must look at ways of improving workflows and reducing costs, whilst continuing to deliver a high quality service and demonstrating differentiation from their competitors.
The event will be led and facilitated by Michael Kearns of UXL Ltd, and will feature guest speaker Alex Webb Allen of the Institute of Design Innovation at Glasgow School of Art. Members of the Sporting Chance Initiative team will also be available to explain how they can help you to take forward new ideas by linking you with relevant specialist expertise and funding.
