Enjoy Market Day at Loch Lomond Shores
Kicking off 2017 with a celebration of local Scottish talent, this Sunday 15 January welcomes Market Day to Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch.
Blowing off the cobwebs from all the festivities, and serving up plenty of freshly made food, locally ground coffee, and local crafts, the 5 Star Balloch Visitor Attraction is delighted to play host to the talent from both its regular Farmers Market and Artisan Craft Market combined to form new Market Day events throughout the year.
Loch Lomond Shores Market Day is on the first and third Sunday of each month, and alongside the great products there will be range of excellent musicians to entertain visitors.
Joe Quinn and some of the team from local band the O’Cajunals will be the first serving of entertainment, and shall be playing live in the Market Area from 12 noon till 4pm on Sunday 15 January.

Loch Lomond Shores General Manager Clare Gemmell says, “The new Market Day events are an exciting way to pull all the brilliant Scottish talent together twice a month in our purpose-built Market Area. We are looking to bring along a wide range of musicians so that there is added vibrancy and ambience to the events, and the markets continue to go from strength to strength which goes to show that we are taking on board the message about shopping Scottish and shopping local.”
Loch Lomond Shores has plenty of free parking, is close to Balloch Train Station, and accessible via a number of bus routes. As well as a wide range of shopping on offer, visitors will find several places to eat and drink plus attractions for families including Sealife Loch Lomond Aquarium, Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre and more, adding up to a perfect day out.
