Classic Car Rally Stops at Loch Lomond Shores

The Land’s End to John O’Groats (LeJog) classic car rally is stopping off at Loch Lomond Shores on Monday 9th December.

Run by the Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation (HERO), LeJog takes classic cars built before 1984 and runs them through the toughest terrain over a 4 day, 1400 mile trek from the very south to the very north of Britain.

Setting off from Land’s End on Saturday 7th December and arriving at John ‘Groats on Tuesday 10th December, this internationally renowned endurance rally attracts crews from all over the world including Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria as well crews from throughout the UK and Ireland.

The cars will be making a pit stop at Loch Lomond Shores on Monday 9th December from 10.30am until 12.30 noon for a reliability trial in the over flow car park. Spectators are welcome to come along and see these great cars up close.

Peter Nedin, Event Director of HERO, said:

“This is the 19th year running LeJog and while it is our first visit to Loch Lomond Shores, it certainly won’t be the last. The drivers are all really looking forward to the chance to use their driving skills at this beautiful loch-side setting."

Loch Lomond Shores is open daily from 9.30am until 6pm, with Jenners open until 8pm every Thursday in December.
