Braw Nights in Balmaha
As well as two full days of free family entertainment during Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October there are two special evening events at this year’s Balmaha’s Braw Weekend.
Balamha’s Braw Weekend is staged by The Oak Tree Inn on the banks of Loch Lomond and sponsored by Glengoyne Distillery, with support from EventScotland and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
On Friday 30 September from 7pm there will be a 5-course meal, designed by chefs Tom Lewis of Monachyle Mhor, Yasmin McDonagh of Scotia Spice, Tristan Campbell of Truffle Events, Willie Little of Fish in Crieff and Robert Muir of The Oak Tree Inn. They will be each talking at the dinner about the dish that they have created. The night will be rounded off with a ceilidh. Tickets priced £50 per person.
On Saturday 1 October from 7pm there is a night of music, featuring four top Scottish acts – Have Mercy Las Vegas, Dave Arcari, Mark McGowan and Miracle Glass Company. Entry £5 payable on the door.
This year, a huge luxury marquee, with views over Loch Lomond, will play host to the evening events of Balmaha’s Braw Weekend.
