Awards Successes for Love Loch Lomond Businesses
Destination organisation Love Loch Lomond is delighted that four member businesses have triumphed in prestigious tourism and hospitality awards recently, highlighting the destination’s ongoing commitment to delivering a high quality visitor experience through innovation and learning, skills development and collaboration.
Husband and wife team Milan and Cara Nikolic (pictured in header image), owners of the successful group of restaurants, La Barca Spanish Tapas and Wine Bar, Riverbank Bar & Restaurant and latest addition Cattle and Creel Steakhouse and Seafood Bar, picked up the Scotland CAN DO Award for Innovation in Tourism in Scotland’s tourism Oscars, The 2015 VisitScotland Thistle Awards (Central South West), celebrated in Glasgow on Wednesday 4th November.
Cara and Milan are both absolutely delighted with the award in recognition of the hard work all the team and staff have invested in the businesses, with the couple keen to thank their loyal customer base for their support over the last five years.
As well as recognition for the innovation in tourism shown by Helensburgh-based couple Milan and Cara, there was success for accommodation in the Loch Lomond area too, with Forest Holidays Argartan Argyll picking up a Scottish Thistle Award for Best Holiday Accommodation.
Following the Thistle awards successes, the Fraser family and team at The Oak Tree Inn Balmaha were thrilled to win Scotland’s Best Pub/Bar in the 2015 Scottish Licenced Trade News (SLTN) awards, also held in Glasgow on Thursday 5th November.
Last but not least, congratulations also go to the team behind Argyll Holidays, who were awarded Best Holiday Park in Scotland at the recent 2015 Hoseasons Awards – another fantastic achievement.
