Art on Wheels Heads to Loch Lomond Shores

An art exhibition, part of The Travelling Gallery, will be rolling into Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch, next week.

The Travelling Gallery is a custom-built, mobile, contemporary art space inside a big beautiful bus, which brings high quality contemporary art exhibitions and events to schools and communities throughout Scotland.

The bus will be at the lochside site on Friday 20th May, and visitors can enjoy the exhibition from 11am until 5pm.

The exhibition will be Here Comes Everybody by kennardphillipps and Scott Lang.

The exhibition opened at Stills Gallery in Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Art Festival in August 2015, and the concept of the exhibition hinges on participation by local audiences. Here Comes Everybody will be touring in the Travelling Gallery from March to May 2016.

Stuart Williams, Marketing Assistant at Loch Lomond Shores, said: “We’re very excited to have the Travelling Gallery stopping off here. It’s such a unique experience and we hope our visitors will enjoy visiting the gallery while it’s here.”
