The Oak Tree Inn is in the beautiful village of Balmaha on the East Side of Loch Lomond. Located on the famous West Highland Way it is an excellent base to explore the amazing scenery in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

B&B accommodation is available both in rooms above the inn and in a series of nearby cottages. Renowned for its high level of service The Oak Tree continues to win prestigious industry awards, including most recently Customer Excellence at the Forth Valley Business Awards and The Commitment to The Community at The Herald Family Business Awards.

The Oak Tree Inn has recently been added to Trip Advisor’s Roll of Honour, given to the very few places, such as the Oak Tree, that have won their Certificate of Excellence standard for five years in a row.

The restaurant offers good Scottish food, with daily specials. Locally brewed beers and ciders, as well as a well-stocked whisky bar are also available. The Oak Tree has two homemade ice cream brands, Loch Lomond Luxury Ice Cream and for the children Bal-Moo-Ha.

Next to The Oak Tree is our Village Shop that sells groceries, gifts and all the essential items for your visit, especially useful if you’re walking. There is also St Mocha, The Oak Tree's Coffee Shop and Ice Cream Parlour next door where you can come and enjoy a speciality coffee and some homemade ice cream. There is Wi-Fi and an I-Pad to stay up to date with e-mails and news if you wish.

We have produced lots of local guides and ideas for things to do. From the Oak Tree you can explore by foot, car, bike or boat, with lots to do in easy reach. Find out more on our website.
