Anne and Bobby welcome you to stay on our farm where we are approaching lambing - from 20 April to 10 May and guests are welcome to visit the lambing shed at any time.   We are just south of Luss where you can enjoy a full scottish breakfast with home made breads and jams while enjoying a panoramic view of the Loch.  You can enjoy your breakfast while watching the sun rise over Loch Lomond, watch the lambs gambol in the early morning and see the many and varied birds which habitat this part of Scotland.   For your holiday use Shantron as a base while you go to Inveraray to see the Castle, Jail or Bell Tower.   To Stirling for the Castle and Wallace Monument, Aberfoyle - the Sheep and Wool Centre and the magnificent scenery of the Trossachs where on Loch Katrine sail on the SS Sir Walter Scott, Glasgow for the Botanic Gardens, Cathedral, Burrell Coillection or just enjoy the magnificient architecture.

There are many good eating places within an 8 mile radius of the Farm. You can relax in the spacious garden and enjoy our long summer evenings watching the world go by as the setting sun reflects on the hills beyond.

You can explore the different walking areas on the farm - a short walk to the tip of Shantron Hill, a gentle stroll up the Glen Road to the Finlas Reservoir or a 10 mile ridge walk round the farm.

Discover our rich and varied past - the site of an Iron Age Fort, a 100ft deep gorge where a Colquhoun leapt to safety from the MacGregors after the battle of Glen Fruin, cup and ring marked stone from the time of the Druids.
