  • Facilities

La Barca, which means "the boat" in Spanish, features a handcrafted boat-shaped bar, beautiful harbour scene mural and a generously stocked, feature wine cellar.

Choose from over 40 tapas and paellas freshly prepared by passionate Spanish chefs, using ingredients sourced both locally and regionally from Spain. Watch our La Barca video to get a taste of what we offer.

Opened in December 2012,  the tapas bar was first recognised when it was shortlisted for 'Restaurant of the Year' in the Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards in 2013. Lunch and  early evening menu offers 3 tapas from £9.95 daily.

Booking recommended at weekends. If you celebrate a birthday there don't be surprised if the waiters serenade you with a verse of Spanish "Cumpleanos Feliz":Happy Birthday.

Helensburgh's most popular restaurant has also hosted hen parties, cocktail training, christening, corporate dinners, wedding receptions and many customers have popped the question there. Call 01436 268 518 to book a table.

Owner Milan says: "Eating tapas with friends is a great, sociable experience. It's lovely to share a few dishes over a nice bottle of wine and tapas appeals to everyone, from couples to families and parties of friends. There have been many engagements in here too which we are always chuffed about."
