Join the old railway line near Strathblane Library and at the old station house turn left and continue up the Cuilt Brae Road (B821). At the first sharp bend take the private road going off right past Ardoch. Follow this road and at the fork bear left.

Go through the gate and follow the track until you join the West Highland Way at Arlehaven. Turn right and follow the Way behind Dumgoyach Farm and onto the old railway line.

Follow the West Highland Way signs. At the notice board for Glengoyne Distillery, cross the stile and follow the grassy track heading up between the distillery warehouses and onto the A81. Slightly to the left cross the road and follow the the rough road up past the cottages.

Bearing right the road leads to a gate which will take you onto the Water Track and back to Stathblane.

This walk is approximately 8 miles and should take about 3 hours.
